Emberközpontú algoritmusvizualizáció [Human-Oriented Algorithm Visualization]
Nowadays, it is commonly accepted that computational thinking (CT) is an essential mindset for all students of the digital era. Although the phrase computational thinking was introduced in 1980, it was brought to the forefront of the computer science (CS) education community only in 2006 by Jeannette Wing. Wing describes CT as a formative skill on a par with reading, writing, and arithmetic, and she emphasizes that everyone, not just computer scientists, would be eager to learn and use. Since the concept of CT can be defined as the thought process involved in formulating problems so that “their solutions can be represented as computational steps and algorithms”, a natural way to address the “CT for all” issue is computing education for all.
AlgoRythmics platform is a multisensory, interactive e-learning environment to promote the CT of different categories of learners. Therefore, I decided to implement my recent studies in this renewed AlgoRythmics environment.
