Kötődések. Helyi közösségek egy globalizálódó világban [Connections. Local Communities in a Globalizing World]

The present volume comprises studies carried out within the Communities and Networks research project funded by the Institute of Research Programmes of Sapientia Foundation. Running in the period of 2019─2021, the project included numerous field researches, qualitative and quantitative analyses presented in conferences and workshops, in which the participants of the research project and the invited speakers offered various perspectives on local Transylvanian communities in the context of the changes and trends that define the era of globalization and digitalization. Each of the eight studies published in the volume approaches the topic of small worlds in a global context either as essays or as empirical studies. Local situations are either framed in a global explanatory context or correlated with good practices and international experiences, outlining scenarios for the future.
