Scientia Publishing House conducts its editorial activity in accordance with the applicable legislation, as well as with international ethical and professional standards. The editorial policy of the publishing house is aligned with the principles promoted by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and with internationally recognized best practices in the academic community.
Compliance with ethical standards is ensured through a comprehensive framework of internal regulations and documents, including:
• the regulations of Scientia Publishing House and the journal Acta Universitatis Sapientiae;
• the institution’s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct;
• the Research Ethics Code;
• the Guidelines on the Use of Artificial Intelligence, which provide for the transparent and responsible use of AI tools, the rigorous verification of generated information, and adherence to the principles of academic integrity, including the prevention of plagiarism and unacknowledged AI-generated scientific content;
• plagiarism screening conducted using the Turnitin software.
These documents and procedures define the responsibilities of authors, editors, and reviewers, regulate the verification of manuscript originality, the independent scientific peer-review process, and the management of potential conflicts of interest.
