The volume entitled Nation-State and Empire attempts to summarize and systematize in a study (it can also be considered an essay) one of the great debates of our time, in which the opposing sides are often referred to as sovereigntists and globalists. This opposition is ideological today, but it also clashes with various arguments from history, geopolitics, philosophy and the history of ideas. Based on all this, the author attempts to outline an interpretive framework, and his point of view reflects the historical heritage of Central and Eastern Europe, including Transylvania.
