The present volume is the result of a selection of papers presented during an exploring Workshop financed by a national programme (Planul Naţional de Cercetare, dezvoltare şi inovare 2007-2013, PNII Program IDEI, PN-II-ID-WE-2011–09) and the First International Symposium of Terminology at “Petru Maior” University of Tîrgu-Mureș, Romania. The Workshop is the first fundamental action of the Inter-University Research Project entitled “Plurilingual Terminology and Polyglot Dictionary of Terms”, proposed by “Petru Maior” University of Tîrgu-Mureș, the Faculty of Sciences and Letters.
